Competition Rules
Competition Format: Combat (Armor Scoring)
One-on-one full-contact light sword combat — two competitors per match, run under the Tournament Bracket format. Each athlete wears an electronic scoring vest: the chest armor counts and self-declares every scoring strike. Only strikes that land on the chest armor score.
Scoring:
Points are counted and declared electronically by the chest armor
Only chest-armor contact scores — strikes anywhere else do not count
Results feed league standings and the LSMAF national record
Match Format:
Two competitors only — 1 on 1
Single or double elimination per the Tournament Bracket format
Divisions by sash rank and weight class
All results permanently recorded in the LSMAF national record.
