Competition Format: Combat (Legacy)
The original LSMA full-body-contact ruleset — one-on-one combat, two competitors per match, run under the Tournament Bracket format. Points are observed and declared by the referee, the way the art was first competed.
Scoring:
Full-body contact target area
Points declared by the referee
The referee holds full match authority, including safety stops
Match Format:
Two competitors only — 1 on 1
Single or double elimination per the Tournament Bracket format
Divisions by sash rank and weight class
All results permanently recorded in the LSMAF national record.
